About visiting

We are a volunteer-led charitable trust. Our building is on four floors without space for a lift. Our ability to show the Collection in its entirety is limited by both space and available volunteers. We therefore operate currently as per the visitor information below.

We are currently closed while we prepare for our next exhibition and the opening of the newly-curated upper floors (please see Accessibility below) on Saturday 24 February.

Opening hours for 60˚ North:

  • Wednesdays: 13:00-16:00hrs by appointment (please use contact form at the bottom of this page and allow at least a week, emails are received and read only two days per week, usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
  • Fridays: 13:00-16:00hrs
  • Saturdays: 11:30-16:30hrs
  • We will also be participating in the Equinox, the Bristol Gallery Weekend and will be open for the following times:
    • Thursday 21 March 13:00-16:00hrs
    • Friday 22 March 13:00-16:00hrs
    • Saturday 23 March 11:30-16:30hrs
    • Sunday 24 March 11:30-16:30hrs

Entry charge to 60˚ North includes access to the newly-curated first and second floors. Please read about our accessibility below.

Cash or card donations to our charity are very welcome.

 To view full collection

Find out about our Curator’s tours. Alternatively, a guided tour of the full collection by the Curator can be arranged for groups of up to 10 people, with a charge of £15 per person (subject to a minimum charge of £60) – it would make a great birthday celebration. Please complete the form below to find out about arranging a group tour.

 Accessibility

Please note that the Collection is housed in a narrow building on four floors without a lift. The ground floor is fully accessible by wheelchair but unfortunately we do not have lifts to the upper floors.
