We are a volunteer-led charitable trust. Our building is on four floors without space for a lift. Our ability to show the Collection in its entirety is limited by both space and available volunteers. We therefore operate currently as per the visitor information below.

  • Wednesdays: 13:00-16:00hrs (please ring doorbell)
  • Fridays: 13:00-16:00hrs
  • Saturdays: 11:00-16:00hrs
  • Sundays: 11:00-16:00hrs

 Entry to exhibitions

Entry to Collections is free.

 Transport

Car: Trenchard Street car park is 5 minutes’ walk away.

Bus/train: Many buses stop at the top of Park Street, 1 minute’s walk away:  the 8 connects with Bristol Temple Meads railway station.

 To view full collection

Find out about our Curator’s tours. Alternatively, a guided tour of the full collection by the Curator can be arranged for groups of up to 10 people, with a charge of £15 per person (subject to a minimum charge of £60) – it would make a great birthday celebration. Please complete the form below to find out about arranging a group tour.

 Accessibility

Please note that the Collection is housed in a narrow building on four floors without a lift. The ground floor is fully accessible by wheelchair but unfortunately we do not have lifts to the upper floors.

Please complete this form if you have any queries, or you wish to enquire about arranging a group visit for a curator-led tour.
