We’re seeking a new Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees!
The Board of Trustees plays a vital role in steering the direction of our organisation—safeguarding our mission, vision, and values while offering strategic oversight and support to the team delivering our projects and programmes. We’re now looking for someone with financial expertise to take on the role of Treasurer.
You don’t need to have been a trustee before, and you don’t need a background in arts, design, or culture—what matters most is a genuine enthusiasm for what we do and a belief in the importance of our Collection.
In particular, we’re looking for someone with:

Financial experience – You don’t have to be a chartered accountant, but you should be confident reviewing charity accounts and budgets, offering financial insight at board level, and helping ensure our financial systems and processes are sound.

Fundraising insight – To contribute ideas and energy to our evolving business model, especially in response to a tough fundraising landscape. This could involve helping shape strategies around individual giving, trust and foundation bids, or legacy fundraising.

A collaborative mindset – We’re a small and committed team, and we value trustees who are willing to contribute their time, ideas, and experience to support our ongoing development and community connections.
