Art Book Sale – All Profits Support the Gallery

We’re having a second-hand art book sale at The Stradling Collection, and you’re invited to come and browse a wide range of titles. You’ll find an eclectic mix of books on art, design, photography, and more, all at affordable prices ranging from £1 to £15.
Whether you’re looking for a gift, adding to your own collection, or just fancy a browse, there’s something here for every kind of art enthusiast. Many of the books have been generously donated, and we’ve also included a few individually priced collectable titles, rare or out-of-print gems you won’t find easily elsewhere.
As a registered charity, all profits from the sale go directly back into the organisation. That means every book you buy helps us continue our work, from supporting local artists and curating exhibitions, to running workshops, talks, and community engagement projects.
If you can’t make it into the gallery but would still like to support us, you can always make a donation here. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us keep doing what we do.
Have books you want to donate?
We’re currently looking for books to be donated to the sale. If you have art books that you’d like to donate, please drop them off to our stewards at The Stradling Collection during our current opening hours (Wednesday and Friday, 13:00-16:00, or Saturday and Sunday 11:00-16:00).
Please note: due to the installation of our next exhibition, the permanent collection will not be open during the book sale. Entry to the book sale will be free.
