Creative Conversations: Studio Ceramics from The Stradling Collection

We have a new publication in our library exploring some of the themes and artists showcased in our new exhibition ‘Creative Conversations: Studio Ceramics from the Stradling Collection.

The catalogue contains four original essays by Oliver Kent, Lucy Middleweek, Tanya Martin, and Peter Alcaraz, founder of State Ceramics, which has sponsored the exhibition.

They study some of the often deeply personal exchanges between Ken Stradling and the makers whose work is on display, as well as the major influence his late wife, Betty Haggar, had on the Collection.
