About
“I make mixed media sculpture using themes drawn from my own life, and by pondering on life in general. I most frequently begin to build an image using wood -my most familiar material – but integrate a wide mixture of other media to support my idea. Working metaphorically, I choose materials to “stand for” aspects of the message I am trying to communicate, playing with them unconventionally and treating one material as if it were another, transforming them to fulfil my purpose.”
